The Gingerdead men

I used to watch the walking dead religiously with my family. It was fun, exciting and we were all into zombies! As the series started drifting away from zombies vs man and more into man vs man (people killing people) a couple of my sisters lost interest. It was getting too violent and grotesque and there seemed to be less and less zombies in the story. The story continued to decline and more of us dropped out like flies, especially when likeable characters got killed off!

Now it’s just dad and I in the fight against the corrupt bad guys taking away the zombies spotlight! I found a picture of zombie gingerbread men on facebook and it sparked a desire in me to make my own! They came out okay…but nothing to write home about! They were still fun to make and it was a scary change from the norm.

The first thing my partner said when he saw them was “what is that white stuff on the chest, are they abs?”. They are ribs for crying out loud! I don’t think he was too impressed by my artistic abilities!

I will be taking them to my parents house tomorrow night for the new episode of the walking dead! They should provide some scares but the taste will be extra sweet!
